Emma Ruth Phillingane Scholarship

The Emma Ruth Phillingane Nursing Scholarship is designed to support nursing students who embody the values of leadership, commitment, and excellence that Emma Ruth Phillingane demonstrated throughout her career. This scholarship will provide financial assistance to nursing students who are pursuing their education with a strong desire to contribute to the healthcare profession.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be actively enrolled in the SCHS Nursing Program.

• GPA Requirement: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required.

• Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

• Merit: The scholarship will be awarded based on both academic achievement and the applicant’s potential for success in the nursing profession.

• Preference for Second-Degree Seeking Students: Preference will be given to students who are pursuing nursing as a second degree, but all are encouraged to apply.
