NUR 3241 Quality and Safety in Nursing
This course will focus on the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to continuously improve the quality and safety of healthcare systems. An emphasis on the six principles of Quality and Safety in Nursing Education (QSEN) and the Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School is integrated throughout the course. Students will have the opportunity to utilize principles of QSEN and IHI to develop quality improvement proposals.
