NUR 3112 Adult Nursing Science II
This course focuses on the development of clinical judgement using the Tanner Clinical Judgement model (TCJM). This model provides common language and a process of using critical thinking, knowledge, and experience to develop solutions to problems and make decisions in the clinical setting. This course will focus on alterations in homeostasis secondary to care of the perioperative client, in addition, to the client with altered immune disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, movement and coordination disorders, and multisystem organ dysfunction. Adult Nursing Science II will draw on knowledge gained in liberal education and previous nursing courses. This course is aligned with Pathopharmacology II and Adult Nursing Science II Practicum for application of knowledge, skills and attitudes learned during the course.
