Tuition & Fees
SOMI Tuition and Fees are assessed based upon the rates listed in the table below. Tuition represents charges incurred for academic instruction and support services, and Fees represent charges for student learning resources, technology, campus activities, and graduation activities. SOMI’s Tuition and Fee structure is consistently applied to in-state or out-of-state residency. SOMI reserves the right to make changes to the Tuition and Fee structure as needed. Any such changes will be communicated via email and announcements in CampusNexus® — Student Portal.

Other Charges
SOMI students may incur Other Charges such as application fees, textbooks, uniforms, laptop computer bundle, etc.

SOMI Online Bookstore
SOMI has partnered with eCampus to provide an Online Bookstore. Students can utilize the Online Bookstore to order textbooks in various formats (new, used, rental, digital eBook, etc.). Book Vouchers will be available to SOMI students generally 30 days prior to the start of the Semester. All items ordered through SOMI’s Online Bookstore via the Book Voucher are included on the Registration Bill as Other Charges. Students are responsible for Other Charges assessed to the Student Account (Registration Bill) for items which are ordered via SOMI’s online bookstore.

In addition, SOMI students will have the option to purchase a standard laptop computer bundle through SOMI’s Information Technology (IT) team that includes a Dell Latitude laptop, 3-year (limited) IT support for hardware and software, applicable software, 2 battery chargers and wireless mouse. The SOMI-issued laptop computer bundle is not required. However, SOMI was able to leverage BSMH IT vendor contracts in order to offer such a bundle at discounted retail prices. Charges related to the SOMI-issued laptop computer bundle will be included on the Registration Bill for those students who decide to opt-in.

Certain items such as uniforms and laptop computer bundles are non-returnable and non-refundable. Students are not required to utilize the Online Bookstore; however, for students who also participate in the BSMH (Guild) Tuition Benefits programs, it is encouraged, as books (not uniforms, nor SOMI-issued laptop computer bundles) are covered by BSMH (Guild) Tuition Benefits. It is the student’s responsibility to know and understand which Other Charges may be invoiced to Third-Party Payors including, but not limited to BSMH (Guild) Tuition Benefits. All Other Charges posted to the Student Account are subject to policy ADM 4.04 Student Accounts Further information and additional details will be communicated to students via CampusNexus® prior to the start of each Semester. Students can access the SOMI Online Bookstore at https://smhsomi.ecampus.com.

*For those SOMI students who “opt-in” to purchase a SOMI-issued laptop. The Laptop Computer Bundle charge of $1,425.00 will be posted to the Student Account automatically upon receipt. Laptop Computer Bundles are non-returnable and non-refundable.

**New (incoming) students will be issued 2 sets of Uniforms (2 scrub tops, 2 scrub pants, 1 scrub jacket) in advance of the first Semester. Uniform charges of $124.00 will be posted to the Student Account automatically upon receipt. Uniforms are non-returnable and non-refundable.
